Management Accounting Guidelines

Management Accounting Guidelines (MAGs)® are the flagship research publication for CMA Canada. MAGs provide the reader with guidance on how to implement advanced management accounting concepts in the workplace using a proven step approach. MAGs are approximately 20 pages and contain a detailed implementation process based on well-established methodologies. They are written by experts in the field and filled with practical advice to guide professionals in the implementation process.

The MAGs product line is suitable for several audiences:

·          CMA members and other professional management accountants who are directly involved in the implementation of the advanced management accounting practices. CMA members have free access to the entire MAGs portfolio. Non-members can access individual MAGs publications for a fee.

·          CMA candidates to provide detailed insights on an advanced management accounting concept as they are completing their CMA professional program studies. CMA candidates have free access to the entire MAGs portfolio.

·           University professors to provide a supplement to the textbook used in their management accounting course. University professors can request free access for their students with a formal written request to CMA Canada. For more information, please contact info@managementaccounting.org

Welcome to CPA Canada!

The CICA and CMA Canada joined together January 1, 2013, to create CPA Canada as the national organization to support unification of the Canadian accounting profession under the CPA banner.

Our integrated CPA Canada website will launch in January 2014. Until that time, all our existing resources, services and information are available through the CICA and CMA Canada legacy sites.
